By sending a letter to the Human Rights Council of the United Nations, the United Nations Human Rights Watch has requested the extension of the mission of Richard Bennett, the special rapporteur of the Council for Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): This open letter was sent to the United Nations Human Rights Council on Wednesday, September 7.
 
Human Rights Watch's open letter states that the human rights situation in Afghanistan is deplorable.
 
The mission of Richard Bennett, the special rapporteur of the UN Human Rights Council for Afghanistan, is to be extended in the 50th session of this council.
