Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has once again asked the Islamic Emirate to fulfill its commitments in the field of forming an inclusive government.
Lavrov added: "We ask the Islamic Emirate to fulfill its obligations regarding national reconciliation and the formation of an inclusive government that reflects the interests of all ethnic and political currents."
The Russian Foreign Minister has said in a conversation with Khavar News Agency of Tajikistan that the Islamic Emirate should also try to fight the spread of terrorism and drugs.
He has stated that the Islamic Emirate must adhere to its obligations to stabilize the situation in Afghanistan.
Many times before this, Russia and other countries in the region have called for the formation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan.
These countries have repeatedly said that they will only recognize the Islamic Emirate and support it if, after the talks, an inclusive government is formed in Afghanistan in which all political currents are present.
Meanwhile, Russia has close relations with the Islamic Emirate; after the fall of the previous government in Afghanistan, this country has kept its embassy in Kabul active and has received a number of diplomats from the Islamic Emirate in Moscow.
It should be mentioned that 8 people including two Russian diplomats were killed and more than 10 others were injured when ISIS attacked the Russian embassy in Kabul recently. Following this incident, this diplomatic institution has canceled its consular services until further notice.
