Security forces have rescued the 10-year-old son of a local doctor who had been kidnapped last week. Balkh officials confirmed.

Afghan Voice Agency(AVA)_Monitoring, The governor of Balkh, Qadratullah Abu Hamza, said the boy was rescued early Monday morning and that eight suspects have been arrested.

The boy, Yousof, is the son of a well known doctor, Qayum Hakimi and was kidnapped by three men while on his way to school last week.
