Da Afghanistan Bank will auction 17 million USA dollars on Wednesday to keep the local currency rate stable in the market.

Afghan Voice Agency(AVA)_Monitoring, DAB in a statement received by Bakhtar News Agency asked all eligible commercial banks, and money exchangers to participate in the auction.

It is mentioned in the newsletter that partial transaction is not allowed and the winner of the auction is obligated to deliver the amount in cash at a specific time to the Central Bank.

It is the second time the Central Bank auctions US dollars in a week to keep the local currency stable against US dollars in the market. Two days back, DAB auctioned 13 million US dollars in the market.

The exchange rate of one US dollar is 89.70 Afghanis in Sera-i-Shahzada Exchange Market today.
