AVA - IEA Ready to Start Practical Work on Mes Aynak Project

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The Acting Mines and Petroleum Minister, Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, attended the meeting, according to a statement received by BNA, the two sides discussed conducting the Mes Aynak project based on the contract already signed and the start of the practical work of the project added to the statement.

Deputy PM Beradar, said now that the security situation is better it’s a good opportunity to conduct major national projects in the country, adding that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is wholly ready to start the practical on the project and vowed any cooperation in the respect of the start of the project, added to the statement.

For his part, the Executive Vice President of MCC hailed the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan for starting the practical work on the project, he said that after the complete transfer of the relics from Mes Aynak site, the company will be practically Start extraction from the mine.

Lately, the Acting Mines and Petroleum Minister, in a meeting with the Executive Vice President of MCC, said that the company should fulfill all its responsibilities and commitments according to the contract signed and start the practical work of the project shortly.
