125 ambulances were purchased from Uzbekistan and delivered to the Ministry of Public Health
The head of the affairs department of the Islamic Emirate said that 125 ambulances were recently purchased from Uzbekistan and delivered to the Ministry of Public Health.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Mawlavi Noor-ul-Haq Anwar, the head of the Islamic Emirate Affairs Department, told the media yesterday (Wednesday, November 23) that 125 ambulances were purchased from Uzbekistan.

He added that these ambulances have been submitted to the Ministry of Public Health.

The head of the affairs department has stated that they bought these ambulances worth nearly six and a half million dollars.

This is despite the fact that during the recent 20-year war in Afghanistan, many ambulances bought or donated by countries have been destroyed due to road damage or sometimes explosions in the country.

On January 27, 2018, there was an explosion in the Chancellery Square as a result of a bomb in an ambulance, which killed more than 100 people.
