AVA - IEA Defense Minister Meets UAE President

Mawlavi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, at the Al Shati Royal Palace in Abu Dhabi.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, According to the Afghan Ministry of National Defense, Mujahid during his visit met with several officials the of UAE, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE Government.

Mutual issues of interest have been discussed including strengthening ties between the UAE and Afghanistan, added to the statement.

The country’s National Defense Minister, a head of a delegation traveled to UAE to meet with officials of the country in an official visit on Friday.

The Defense Minister, during his visit, met with Afghans and businessmen residing in UAE and called on them to take part in the development of their country.
