5 Dec 2022 - 16:03

The Iranian President's Special Representative for Afghanistan Affairs said in a televised interview with Iran's One Sad and Sima channel: Americans will not allow a strong government to form in countries like Afghanistan. American soldiers fled, but their intervention in Afghanistan's affairs is not over yet. According to him, the policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is based on supporting the people of Afghanistan and based on the orders of the Supreme Leader, and this policy has been explained.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Hassan Kazemi Qomi, the special representative of the President of Iran for Afghanistan Affairs, appeared on the country's first radio program and said: "Arrogant America does not seek the interests of nations."

The Iranian president's special representative for Afghanistan continued to identify the main reason for America's failure in Afghanistan as not accompanying the people of this country and said: Americans will not allow a strong government to be formed in countries like Afghanistan.

Regarding America's withdrawal from Afghanistan, Kazemi Qomi added: This instability and chaos was what America wanted to prove that our absence would cause instability in Afghanistan.

Stating that ISIS was created by America, he pointed out that Americans are looking to create new bases in West Asia to compete with China, and today they are participating in displacing the people of Afghanistan.

The Special Representative of the President of Iran for Afghanistan Affairs emphasized that the American soldiers fled, but their interference in Afghanistan affairs is not over yet, and emphasized that the American spy system is still active and the United States still has control over the airspace of Afghanistan.

Kazemi Qomi pointed out: In this one year and several months, America tried to start ethnic-religious wars in the psychological game and incidents like Balkh happened. Today, America with its allies such as England and some Arab countries is trying to create an atmosphere of mistrust between the Islamic Emirate and the Islamic Republic of Iran for conflict.

He added: The policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is based on supporting the people of Afghanistan and based on the orders of the Supreme Leader, and this policy has been explained. Support means helping the people of Afghanistan, and if the people of Afghanistan benefit from this policy, Iran would also benefit.

He stated that ISIS slaughtered 1,200 students in Mosul University and continued: It was the occupying regime of Jerusalem and its allies in the region that created ISIS and they want Iran not to enter the security of the region, because America wants it not to happen and we have seen it in the war in Ukraine.

This Iranian official added: What Iran did during this period was to help curb terrorism, reduce immigrants and create regional convergence in the field of fighting terrorism and forming a people's government in Afghanistan. Iran was the first government that emphasized the formation of a people's government from all ethnic groups in Afghanistan, so that a strong and stable government can be formed so that it can both help its people and thwart America's plans.

The special representative of the President of Iran on Afghanistan continued: The Islamic Republic of Iran raised the issue of Afghan-Afghan dialogue, because it believes that the only way to eliminate terrorism and achieve stability is through the formation of a people's government, while the Americans said that after Afghanistan, it would be Iran's turn.

He added: "Iran's job is not to intervene, but to create security and stability, which brings the persuasion of the international community."
