Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, said that secondary schools and high schools for girls are open in a number of provinces in Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, said in an interview with the Associated Press news agency that secondary schools and high schools for girls are open in a number of provinces in Afghanistan.

He added that girls' high schools are closed in other parts of the country due to the economic and strategic crisis that the Islamic Emirate is working on.

At the same time, Shahabuddin Delawar, the acting minister of mines and petroleum of the Islamic Emirate, tells the media that a decision will be made regarding the education of girls in schools and universities soon according to Afghan Sharia and traditions.

Earlier, the officials of the Islamic Emirate had announced that closing the doors of universities to girls is temporary and the Islamic Emirate is not against women's education and work.

It can be recalled that last week, the Acting Minister of Higher Education, Neda Mohammad Nadim, in an official statement, ordered all public and private universities to suspend the education of female students until further notice.
