Deputy Press Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Culture trip to Herat/ pledge to protect the historical monuments of the country
During his visit to Herat Province, the Minister of Broadcasting of the Ministry of Information and Culture of the country visited the process of strengthening the fifth minaret of Herat and the broadcasting process of the National Radio and Television of this province.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Herat: Mawlavi Hayatullah Mohajer Farahi, deputy of the Ministry of Information and Culture, says that the protection of several historical monuments of the country is currently underway.
 
While visiting the fifth minaret of Herat city, which is a historical monument in this province, he stated that this ministry is committed to protecting all the historical watersheds of the country.
 
Meanwhile, Naeem-ul-Haq Haqqani, head of information and culture in Herat, says that the work of strengthening the fifth minaret, along with the carpeting of the roofs of the Grand Mosque, is progressing well and without stopping in the winter season.
 
Mr. Haqqani says that every day more than 50 people are working on the minaret since its beginning.
 
The head of information and culture of Herat says that after the completion of the work on the fifth minaret, work will also begin on the mosque complex of this province.
 
Deputy Minister of broadcasting of the Ministry of Information and Culture of the country also visited the broadcasting department of Herat National TV and examined the problems of this network.
 
In this meeting, the officials of the national radio and television of this province asked the central officials to make this network a satellite.
 
The Minister of Information and Culture Ministry promised that he will send the proposal of this network to the authorities in the center of the country so that it will become a satellite in the near future.
 
This is the second time that the Minister of Information and Culture of the country has visited Herat province and evaluated the cultural and media issues of this province.
