The Islamic Emirate should accept the demands of the international community regarding women
Marks Potzel, Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations for Afghanistan, said in a meeting with Abdul Kabir, Political Deputy of the Prime Minister's Office, that the United Nations respects the religion and culture of Afghans, but is not satisfied with the current situation regarding women's education and work. The Islamic Emirate should accept the request of the international community regarding women's education and work and inclusive governance in this country.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Prime Minister's Office of the Islamic Emirate published a newsletter yesterday (January 4) and said that Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, Political Deputy of the Prime Minister's Office, met with Marks Potzel, the Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations for Afghanistan at Sepidar Palace.
 
In this meeting, Marks Potzel said that UNAMA's mission in Afghanistan and UN humanitarian aid to Afghans continues.
 
He also said that UNAMA has the status of a bridge between the Afghan government and the international community and is trying to bridge the gap between them.
 
Marcus Potzel added that the United Nations respects the religion and culture of Afghans, but is not satisfied with the current situation regarding women's education and work, and the recent decrees of the Emirate will have a negative impact on the work and aid of the international community.
 
The Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations for Afghanistan added that the Islamic Emirate should accept the request of the international community regarding women's education and work and inclusive governance in this country.
 
On the other hand, Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, political deputy of the Prime Minister's Department, said that the Islamic Emirate has completed all the conditions for recognition and the United Nations should hand over Afghanistan's post to them in that organization.
 
He stated that the Islamic Emirate appreciates the role of the United Nations and added that we want good interaction with the world and UNAMA to cooperate in this field.
 
The political deputy of the Prime Minister's Department also said that the Islamic Emirate is committed to an inclusive government and that in the current government there are people from every nation and every province, and efforts are still being made to include people who are experts and committed to the country from every nation and region in the government.
 
He pointed out that the Islamic Emirate considers the education of religious and modern sciences to be the right of every Afghan, and is engaged in enlightening the religion and culture of Afghans in order to create a suitable environment for women's education and work, and in this regard, calls for the impartial assistance of the international community.
 
Mawlavi Abdul Kabir added that the Islamic Emirate does not allow anyone to use Afghanistan's soil against others and in this regard rejects the baseless claim.
 
He added that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan does not interfere in the affairs of any country and will not allow anyone to do so.
 
This is while Marks Potzel, the deputy special representative of the United Nations for Afghanistan, in a meeting with Sirajuddin Haqqani, acting minister of interior, also demanded the reopening of educational centers and women's right to work.
