UN warning about increasing cold weather in Afghanistan
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Aid in Afghanistan said that the temperature has reached minus 35 degrees in parts of Afghanistan at the end of this week, and aid agencies are providing services.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Aid (OCHA) in Afghanistan yesterday (January 13) tweeted that the temperature has reached minus 35 degrees in parts of Afghanistan at the end of this week.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Afghanistan has said that aid agencies are providing services, but the Islamic Emirate's ban on women's work has severely affected aid distribution.

Donors are providing winter support, including cash distribution for winter fuel and warm clothes to families, OCHA said.

Meanwhile, the United Nations says that Afghanistan is on the brink and more than 28 million people in this country will need humanitarian aid in 2023.
