Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Zabihullah Mujahid said on Saturday, January 14, 2023, by posting tweets in response to the UN Security Council meeting, that the Islamic Emirate understands their concerns.
He said that the governor of the Islamic Emirate tries to regulate all affairs in the light of Islamic Sharia.
Mujahid added that the Islamic Emirate cannot allow illegal actions in the country out of a sense of responsibility towards its religion and people.
Mujahid clarified that he demands that international organizations and countries understand the state of the country and the religious wishes of our nation and do not relate humanitarian issues such as humanitarian aid to political issues.
The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate added that the Islamic Emirate cooperates with international organizations in all areas that are in accordance with the religious principles and values of Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, the United Nations Security Council called for the immediate cancellation of the restrictions imposed on women and girls in Afghanistan.
Eleven members of the Security Council have said in a statement that was published on Friday, January 13, that female aid workers are very important to deal with the dire humanitarian situation in Afghanistan and that men cannot do women's work.
The council emphasized unhindered access for humanitarian aid workers regardless of gender.
