The resumption of the activities of the Care Institute in Afghanistan
The International Care Institute announced the resumption of its activities in the fields of health and nutrition in the country.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Care International has said in a statement that after obtaining assurance from the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate about the safe and unrestricted movement of female employees of this institution to their workplaces.

In this announcement, the Care Institute said that it welcomes this opportunity considering the continuation of the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, because according to this organization, female employees are an important part of this organization and without their presence, things will not progress.

This is the second international aid organization that has resumed its suspended activities in Afghanistan in the last two days.

Yesterday, Save the Children organization said that it will resume some programs related to health, nutrition and education in Afghanistan.

The citizens of the country welcome this issue and ask other international aid organizations to help them in this difficult situation.

It should be noted that the Care Institute and the Children's Protection Organization have only announced the resumption of their activities in the fields of health and nutrition, and this is while a small part of aid organizations are helping people. In other essential fields, the activities of many institutions are still stopped due to the prohibition of women's work in non-governmental offices by the Islamic Emirate.

About three weeks ago, the Islamic Emirate announced that women do not have the right to work in national and international non-governmental organizations, which faced reactions inside and outside the country and was strongly condemned, and a number of international aid organizations stopped their activities in Afghanistan.

These two organizations announce the resumption of their activities in the fields of health and nutrition while millions of people in Afghanistan need urgent humanitarian aid in various fields.

Many international organizations, including the United Nations, have said that the current winter in Afghanistan is very difficult and millions of people are at risk of starvation.
