OCHA has helped more than 560 thousand people in Afghanistan this winter

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) says that it has provided humanitarian assistance to 565,700 people in Afghanistan this winter.


Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Aid (OCHA) said in a tweet yesterday (January 22) that it has provided humanitarian aid to 565,700 people in Afghanistan this winter.
 
OCHA wrote that his new donations represent only 59 percent of the organization's total target.
 
According to this institution, assistance in home heating and distribution of blankets and cash for the needy continues.
 
Earlier, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Aid (OCHA) announced that the number of people in need of aid in Afghanistan has increased to 28 million.
 
The unprecedented cold in recent days in different parts of Afghanistan has faced many families with problems.
 
The Islamic Emirate's Ministry of Disaster Management also announced on Friday (January 20) that 104 people have died due to cold, floods, gassing and fire since the 20th of the current year.
