Pakistan should provide more scholarships for Afghan students

Nada Mohammad Nadeem, the Acting Minister of Higher Education, in a meeting with Saifullah Khan, the acting head of the Pakistani Embassy in Kabul, asked to solve the problems of Afghan students living in Pakistan and asked Islamabad to provide more scholarships for Afghan students.


Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Ministry of Higher Education has published a newsletter saying that Nada Mohammad Nadeem, Acting Minister of Higher Education, has requested an increase in scholarships for Afghan students in a meeting with Saifullah Khan, the head of the Pakistani embassy.
 
In this meeting, the Acting Minister of Higher Education of the Islamic Emirate wanted to solve the problems of Afghan students living in Pakistan and asked Islamabad to provide more scholarships for Afghan students.
 
The Ministry of Higher Education says that better scientific relations, ease of issuing study visas were among the central discussions in this meeting.
 
In this meeting, the head of the Pakistani embassy in Kabul promised to cooperate in solving the problems of Afghan students.
 
However, not long ago, a number of Afghan citizens in Pakistan complained about the non-renewal of their visas in this country.
 
They say that their visas have expired and now they are facing a problem.
 
Shakir Sangi, an Afghan citizen in Pakistan, said that those whose visas have expired will unfortunately have to pay a fine of $400, and this is one of the concerns of Afghan citizens living in Pakistan in Islamabad.
