Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Dozens of residents of Kunduz, Nangarhar, Zabul, Kandahar, Paktia and Paktika provinces protested the burning of the Quran in Sweden.

Protesters chanted death to Sweden and burned the country's flag.

They demanded punishment for those responsible for burning the Holy Quran in Sweden.

However, the Ministry of Guidance, Hajj and Awqaf of the country has issued a notice to all official and unofficial imams and preachers of the country's mosques to condemn this act in their speeches in response to the burning of the Holy Quran in Sweden and Holland.

In the continuation of this announcement, it is stated that "the holy book of Muslims (the Holy Quran) was desecrated by a fanatical infidel in the country of Sweden and burned the Quran, accordingly, it is directed to all official and unofficial imams and preachers throughout the country, which in Friday's speeches condemn the desecration of the Holy Quran with strong words.

Recently, some right-wing extremist groups, led by Rasmus Paludan, burned the Koran in front of the Turkish embassy in Stockholm.

Muslim countries have condemned this action. The Islamic Emirate has asked Sweden to punish the perpetrator of this incident and not allow such persons to repeat such brutal and shameful acts against Islam and Muslims in the future.

In April of last year (2022), Rasmus Paludan caused public anger in Sweden by "burning the Holy Quran" in Sweden, and a number of countries condemned his action.
