Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: This gathering was held on Sunday (January 29) with the participation of hundreds of people in the city park of Maimana Faryab.
The participants in this demonstration condemned the burning of the Quran in Sweden and Denmark and chanted the slogan of death to America and Western countries.
They emphasized that the Quran is the law, the guidebook and the honor of Muslims and they will bravely defend it at the cost of their heads, lives and property.
At the same time, the citizens of Takhar also gathered today in connection with the burning of the Holy Quran in Sweden, Holland and Denmark in the Grand Mosque of this province and raised their voices in defense of this holy book.
This is despite the fact that thousands of citizens of the country had protested against the burning of the Quran by Swedish and Danish politicians in most of the provinces.
