AVA - Brain Tumor Operation Successfully done in Kunduz

Local officials of Kunduz said that, brain tumor surgery has been completed for the first time in a private hospital in this province.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The doctors of the hospital were able to successfully remove the brain tumor from the patient’s head after 4 hours.

The doctors removed 200 grams of brain tumor from the head of this 65-year-old patient, reported a BNA correspondent.

The officials of hospital call this operation a unique accomplishment in the history of medicine in Kunduz.

The family members of this patient say that they have been trying hard for two years for treatment of the patient, but they did not get any positive results and the patient’s health was deteriorating day by day.
