Moscow condemned the attack on the facilities of the Ministry of Defense of Iran
The spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while condemning the drone attack on the facilities of the Iranian Ministry of Defense in Isfahan, warned about its consequences.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): "Maria Zakharova", the spokeswoman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has stated that we strongly condemn any provocative action that could potentially escalate uncontrollable tensions in a region that is far from calm.
 
He added: Such destructive actions can have unpredictable consequences for peace and stability in the Middle East.
 
Zakharova asked the "organizers of this provocative air attack, their supporters" and the parties who are "stomping" for this aggressive act to understand that their hopes for "weakening Iran" are "in vain".
 
Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesman Dimitri Peskov also condemned the Isfahan attack in a conversation with reporters today.
 
The Ministry of Defense and Support of the Armed Forces of Iran announced yesterday that on Saturday January 28, 2023 on one of the workshop complexes of the Ministry of Defense of this country in Isfahan was unsuccessfully attacked by small birds, one of which was hit by the complex's air defense and two other planes.
 
In the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Iran, which was published following the explosion incident in one of the country's defense industries in Isfahan, it is stated: This unsuccessful attack took place on the evening of the 28th of January at around 23:30, with predictions and measures to defend against the attack of small birds. Successfully disposed.
 
This statement adds: There were no casualties in this unsuccessful attack, and there was minor damage to the roof of the workshop, which, by God's grace, did not cause a disruption in the equipment and missions of the complex.
