During this meeting, which was held in the presence of the senior leaders of the Pakistani army, the commander of the country's army ordered the commanders to focus on anti-terrorist operations in coordination with intelligence and law enforcement agencies.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Public Relations of the Pakistan Army announced in a statement: A meeting of the top commanders of the Pakistan Army on the security situation of the country was held under the leadership of General Sayed Asim Munir, the commander of the country's army, in Rawalpindi.
The statement added: In this meeting, which is the 255th meeting of the supreme commanders of the Pakistan Army, the threat of terrorism was discussed.
Paying tribute to the victims of the Peshawar mosque terrorist attack, the commanders of the Pakistani army said: the perpetrators of this terrorist attack will be punished for their actions.
General Sayed Asim Muneer, the commander of the Pakistani army, emphasized in this meeting: Such immoral and cowardly actions cannot reduce the determination of the Pakistani people in the war against terrorism.
He ordered all the high commanders of the Pakistan Army to focus on anti-terrorist operations in coordination with the intelligence and law enforcement agencies until a lasting peace is achieved.
According to news sources, the review of other issues related to security, along with the emphasis on continuous support for the people of Kashmir until this issue is resolved in accordance with the UN resolutions, was one of the other topics of the meeting of the Supreme Commanders of the Pakistan Army.
