Cooperation in the field of treatment of some diseases has increased between Afghanistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran
In a video conference, the president of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences announced the expansion of cooperation in the field of control, prevention and treatment of some diseases between Afghanistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Dr. Habib Ghaznavi, President of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences, in this video conference with the local authorities of Balkh province, Afghanistan, said: Training of human resources in the field of health and treatment, holding short-term and long-term training courses according to the need Afghanistan is one of our priorities.
 
He added: Expanding cooperation in the field of control, prevention and treatment of some diseases such as tuberculosis, malaria, cholera, corona and other diseases can be among the main axes of cooperation between the two countries.
 
President of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences said in the continuation of this conference: Sistan and Baluchistan has a potential capacity to accept Afghan students in assistantships due to its proximity to Afghanistan and the existence of suitable infrastructure in the field of education.
 
He also stated: The neighborhood of religious commonalities and cultural issues has made our people to have many relations with the country of Afghanistan.
 
It should be mentioned that the Islamic Republic of Iran has long cooperated with Afghanistan in various fields of education, treatment and diagnosis of some diseases.
