Washington: We are trying to deal with the relations between Iran and Russia
Ned Price, the spokesman of the US State Department, claimed that the relationship between Iran and Russia has increased conflicts in Ukraine and that Washington will stand against it.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Ned Price, the spokesman of the United States Department of State yesterday (Monday, February 6), emphasized to reporters that Washington is looking for goals that can deal with the relations between Iran and Russia. .
According to the website of the US Department of State, Price said in response to a question about the recent report of the "Wall Street Journal" newspaper in connection with Moscow and Tehran's efforts to build an Iranian drone production plant in Russia: "I have seen these reports. "I'm not in a position to ask this forum to confirm that, but something like that doesn't tell us anything new that we didn't already know on a broader level."
He once again repeated the previous claims of the American officials and said: "We have discussed extensively in the last six months about the growing security relations between Russia and Iran and about the provision of drone technology from Iran to Russia, as well as the fact that this is a street It is very two-way, we have talked.
"Russia, in turn, provides the military and security items requested by Iran."
The spokesperson of the United States Department of State then continued, referring to the deepening of relations between Iran and Russia: "This is part of the reason why we have imposed a number of sanctions not only against Russian agents, but also against Iranian agents in this context."
He then pointed to Washington's most recent actions against Iran and continued: And in fact, the most recent example of that is related to Friday, when the US Treasury put eight people who claimed or were on behalf of an organization called Paravar Pars into the sanctions list.
Price then pointed to America's efforts to deal with the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation and said: "I can tell you that we certainly do not anticipate future sanctions measures, but we will continue to look for goals that will allow us to deal with this The relationship between Iran and Russia, especially in the field of providing UAV technology from Iran to Russia, which has led to countless damages and destruction throughout Ukraine and against the people of Ukraine.
Yesterday, the Wall Street Journal, in a report citing sources that claimed to be from a country aligned with America, wrote that Moscow and Tehran are working together to build a new factory in Russia to produce Iranian-designed drones.
This American newspaper also claimed that this factory is capable of producing about 6,000 drones designed by Iran and that these drones are supposed to be used in the war in Ukraine.
This is not the first time that such reports have been published about the cooperation between Iran and Russia in the Ukraine war, and before this, Ukraine and its western allies have claimed that the Islamic Republic of Iran is participating in the Ukraine war through the supply of drones to Russia.
However, the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran have repeatedly emphasized that the issue of selling drones to Russia is related to the war in Ukraine and that Tehran has no knowledge of how these drones are used.
