Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kandahar: In a ceremony held on Monday (February 13) on the occasion of the 44th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran at the Iranian Consulate in Kandahar, Alireza Hajizada, the Consul General of Iran in Kandahar, said: 44 years ago the Islamic Revolution of Iran led by Imam Khomeini (RA) and by giving more than seventy thousand martyrs, won after years of struggle against the dictatorial regime of the puppet king of America, and the people of Iran gained true independence and the right to determine their own destiny with freedom they got from American rule.
He added that by God's grace, the people of Iran were able to thwart all conspiracies and resist all pressures, and as a result of this resistance, today the Islamic Republic of Iran is independent, free and self-reliant. It is celebrating its 44th anniversary, and that young sapling that was planted by Imam Khomeini (RA) in 1357 AH, has now become a strong tree and in the eye of the wind, despite the maximum pressure from America and its allies, it continues to grow and grow.
Hajizada stated that relying on this power and popular support, the Islamic Republic of Iran, helping the countries of the region, especially the neighboring countries, to fight against all kinds of threats was and is on the agenda of our foreign policy, and in this regard, considering the various geographical commonalities Historical, cultural, linguistic and mutual economic interests, working with Afghanistan is the priority of Iran's foreign policy, and according to him, the security and well-being of the Afghan people means the security and well-being of the Iranian people.
He also added that they are always at the forefront of fighting threats; Such as: terrorism, extremism and drugs, and the martyr general Qassem Soleimani, the hero of the fight against terrorism, dedicated his life to the fight against ISIS, which, according to Donald Trump, was created by the American government and thwarted the American plans to divide the region. Kurds and the American government took revenge on this hero of the people of Iran and the region by assassinating him.
The Consul General of Iran in Kandahar added that currently more than six million Afghans live in Iran and benefit from public services like Iranians, and more than 700,000 students and more than 40,000 students of Afghan nationals in educational centers and Iran's academics are busy studying and Iran's scientific and educational capacities are at their disposal without any restrictions.
He says: They believe that this is the most important help to the people of Afghanistan; because sooner or later, Afghanistan will need trained specialists to return and rebuild their country.
He asked the authorities in Afghanistan to provide the ground for the return of these trained specialists to their country as soon as possible.
In the continuation of this ceremony, Maulavi Haqqani, the head of foreign relations in Kandahar, said: The Islamic revolution has the dignity of the soul for all Muslims, and when there is no Islam in an Islamic society or Islamic countries, that society is like a soulless corpse. The soul cannot benefit anyone, and when it is in the body of the soul, it becomes useful, and wherever there is Islam, there people will be prosperous and happy, and they can have a comfortable life.
