The Afghanistan Consulate in Karachi announced the release of 170 Afghan citizens from Pakistan prisons.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Afghanistan Consulate in Karachi, published a newsletter today (Thursday, February 16, 2023) saying that among the abandoned people, there are also women and children who have been transferred to Afghanistan.
 
It is said that Afghan immigrants in Pakistan have been arrested and imprisoned mainly because they do not have residence documents.
 
Earlier, the Islamic Emirate announced the release of 40 Afghan citizens from a prison in Pakistan's Sindh province.
