Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Central Bank of Afghanistan plans to auction another fifteen million dollars on Monday (29th of August) to further strengthen the value of the Afghani currency.
By publishing a newsletter, the Central Bank has asked eligible banks and exchange and money service companies to participate in this tender and the winners of the auction are obliged to clear their accounts by the end of the day.
It is also stated in the newsletter that partial settlement of transactions is not allowed and the winners of the auction are obliged to deliver their debt to the Central Bank in cash once within a certain period of time.
Yesterday, the Central Bank of Afghanistan auctioned 16 million dollars to further strengthen the value of the Afghani currency.
Meanwhile, today one American dollar is exchanged for (87.10) Afghani in Shehzada Exchange Market, Kabul.
