The security agreement between Iran and Iraq was signed
Yesterday afternoon (March 19) during a ceremony in Baghdad, the agreement on joint security cooperation between Iran and Iraq was signed by Ali Shamkhani, the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Qasim al-Aarji, the national security advisor to the Iraqi Prime Minister.

On the sidelines of this meeting, a security memorandum of understanding between the two countries was signed by the national security advisor of Iraq and the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran.
 
This memorandum of understanding is related to coordination in border security and strengthening cooperation in various security fields.
