After disrespecting the Indian flag, the British ambassador was summoned in this country
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India announced in a statement on Sunday that following the disrespect of the Indian flag in front of the country's embassy in London, Alex Ellis summoned the British ambassador and protested London's disregard for these actions.

This group has set fire to the Indian flag several times in front of the Indian Embassy in London.
 
In the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India, it is stated that due to New Delhi's strong protest against the actions taken by separatist and extremist elements against the Indian Embassy in London, Alex Ellis, the most senior British diplomat, was summoned to New Delhi late Sunday evening.
 
In the continuation of this statement, the government of India asked the British ambassador for an explanation about the complete absence of the security forces when these elements entered the embassy premises. In this context, India has reminded the British government of its basic obligations under the Vienna Convention.
 
In another part of this statement, it is stated: India considers the British government's indifference to the security of Indian diplomatic places and employees in this country unacceptable. It is expected that the British government will take immediate steps to identify, arrest and prosecute all those involved in today's incident and take more decisive measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.

The struggles of members of this group led to violent conflicts in India in the 1980s.
 
Indian government officials consider the Khalistanis extremists and responsible for the 1985 Air India bombing. 329 people were killed in this bombing.
