A strong earthquake shook Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan
The intensity of this earthquake was 4.3 Richter and its center was recorded at a depth of 52 kilometers from the ground in the northeast of Jalalabad city, the capital of Nangarhar province.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: A strong earthquake shook the capital of Afghanistan, Kabul, and its neighboring provinces this morning (Wednesday, March 29).
 
According to the International Seismological Database, the intensity of this earthquake was 4.3 on the Richter scale, and its center was recorded at a depth of 52 km from the surface of the earth, 24 km northeast of Jalalabad city, the capital of Nangarhar province and east of Kabul.
 
This earthquake, which occurred around 4:49 am Kabul time, caused people to wake up and leave their homes.
 
This earthquake was also felt in northern Pakistan.
 
So far, there is no report on possible damages and casualties of this earthquake.
 
Last week, at least 12 people died after an earthquake in Afghanistan and Pakistan. This earthquake shook an area of thousands of kilometers.
 
The United States Geological Survey announced that an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.5 on the Richter scale occurred near the village of Jarem in Badakhshan province in northeastern Afghanistan. This earthquake happened at 9:30 pm on Tuesday March 21, Kabul time, and lasted for more than 30 seconds. This earthquake was felt as far as New Delhi in India, more than a thousand kilometers away from its epicenter.
