A Qatari plane carrying 60 tons of humanitarian aid, arrived in Kabul
Afghanistan has received humanitarian aid delivered by a Qatari aircraft.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, A Qatari plane carrying humanitarian aid, including 60 tons of instructional supplies for the education sector and food relief, arrived at Kabul airport on Tuesday.
 
The aid is part of the State of Qatar’s initiatives, a steadfast commitment to stand by and support the Afghanistan people with urgent essential needs.
 
Over the past few years, Qatar has delivered hundreds of tons of vital humanitarian goods to Afghanistan, including food supplies, via an air bridge from Qatar to Kabul.
 
In addition, this year, the Qatar Fund for Development signed MoU with h the Islamic Republic of Iran to provide education access to 24,900 Afghan children at risk of dropping out.
 
The project includes the provinces of Khorasan, Tehran, Hormozgan, Kerman, Semnan, and Sistan-Balochistan.
 
Meanwhile, Qatar has hosted talks on the future of education in Afghanistan with the participation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education of Afghanistan, Education Above All Foundation, UNICEF and Education Cannot Wait.
