An earthquake of 4.2 magnitudes hit 32 km north of Faizabad city of Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency(AVA)_Monitoring, The earthquake of 4.2 magnitudes occurred at 10:40 pm local time, 10km depth on Sunday with the epicentre of Raghistan, Badakhshan province of Afghanistan, the Indian National Center for Seismology reported. No causalities have been reported so far. 

Recently, natural disasters, including earthquakes, landslides, heavy rain and flooding, have left human and financial damage.

Twenty-nine people have died across 31 provinces of the country, according to Shafiullah Rahimi, a spokeswoman for the State Ministry for Natural Disaster Management. In contrast, over 105 people have suffered injuries from the recent earthquake and flash floods from 21 March to 20 April.

Afghanistan is a disaster-prone region, including earthquakes. Last month, a strong earthquake of 6.5 magnitudes hit Afghanistan, killing at least 19 people and injuring more than 200.
