69 tons of Saffron Exports to India, UAE and China

Afghanistan exported 69 tons of saffron worth $22 million in the last solar year (March 2022 to March 2023). The Ministry of Industry and Commerce announced.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The majority of the saffron exports were to India, the United Arab Emirates, and China, said the Ministry in a statement.

 
The Afghanistan’s saffron is known as the best saffron in the world, and in addition, it won the three-star award of the European International organization in Taste.
