Regional security and immigrants are the focus of Muttaqi and General Munir
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that the head of the ministry, Amir Khan Muttaqi, has met and discussed with General Munir Asim, the chief of the Pakistani army, about regional security and the ease of movement of Afghan refugees.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Hafiz Zia Ahmed, Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, tweeted today (Sunday, 17th of Thor) about the meeting of Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, with General Munir Asim, the Chief of the Pakistan Army.
 
Zia Ahmad said that in this meeting, the two sides discussed regional security and ease of movement of Afghan migrants to Pakistan.
 
The Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate did not provide more details of the talks between Amir Khan Muttaqi and General Munir Asim.
 
The media of Pakistan and the army of this country have not said anything about this meeting and the issues raised in it.
 
According to reports, the government of Pakistan is worried about TTP leaders taking shelter and organizing attacks on the country's military from inside Afghanistan.
 
This concern was raised about two months ago during the visit of the Minister of Defense and the head of Pakistan's intelligence to Kabul and in the meeting with the leaders of the Islamic Emirate.
 
It should be mentioned that Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, traveled to Islamabad on Friday, 15th of Thor, in order to participate in the tripartite meeting of the foreign ministers of Pakistan, China and Afghanistan.
