Reports indicate that the Sudanese peace talks in Saudi Arabia have been concluded with the signing of a statement between the army and the rapid support forces of this country.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): News sources reported on Thursday night, April 11, that the Sudanese army, under the command of Abdul Fattah al-Barhan, one of the parties involved in the conflict in Sudan, and Mohammad Hamdan Daghlo, the commander of the rapid support forces of the other party involved in the conflict in Sudan, on Saturday. This week, they sent their representatives to Saudi Arabia to start the ceasefire talks.
The Jeddah statement, which was signed by the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces, states: The two sides agreed that the interests of the Sudanese people are their priority and refrain from any attack that harms civilians.
According to Iran Press, this statement adds: The Sudanese army and rapid support forces must take all precautionary measures to prevent harm to civilians and allow all Sudanese civilians to leave the hostile and besieged areas.
The two sides pledged not to damage public and private assets in Sudan and to support the medical staff and civilians.
The statement also states: The two sides will adhere to regular and necessary humanitarian ceasefires in Sudan and will refrain from recruiting and using children in the conflicts of this country.
Armed conflicts in Sudan started on the morning of Saturday, April 15, between the army and the Rapid Support Forces in power.
Since the beginning of the conflicts in Sudan, 604 people have been killed and 5,127 people have been injured.
