Kremlin: Russia continues to develop relations with Iran and other countries regardless of American pressure
The spokesman of the Kremlin Palace, while pointing to the continuation of the development of Russia's relations with Iran and other countries, regardless of the pressure of the Western countries, said that the unfriendly actions of the West against Moscow will not go unanswered.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov today (Thursday, May 19, 2023) emphasized the development of Moscow's relations with Tehran and other countries, regardless of American pressure.

Peskov said during a press conference in the Kremlin: "Russia, Iran and a number of other countries will continue to establish relations based on mutual interests and respect, despite the pressure of the United States." The unfriendly actions of the West towards Russia will not go unanswered.

It was on Wednesday that Russia and Iran signed an agreement on the construction of the last section of the "North-South" railway line, which will connect Iran's railway to the railway line of Russia, the Caucasus region, Northern Europe and Scandinavia.

According to "Sputnik" news agency, he explained about this: "We were never under the illusion that the United States would stop trying to put pressure on the Russian Federation, on Iran and other countries that are looking for a truly mutually beneficial cooperation. We always knew that these pressures would continue."

It was after the signing of the said agreement that "Ted Cruz", the hard-line Republican American senator, threatened that he and his colleagues are working on a bill to tighten sanctions against Russia and Iran in order to prevent increased cooperation between them.

However, while pointing out that such plans and sanctions have no effect on the establishment of mutually beneficial relations between Russia and its partners, the Kremlin spokesman stated: "We have always been sure that both Russia and a group of countries, including Iran, which happen to "The pressure of the United States has become very, very accommodating, and will continue to work systematically to build relations based on mutual benefit, mutual respect, consideration of each other's interests and concerns."

According to Sputnik, Peskov further confirmed that the agreement on the export of grain from Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea will be extended for two months and that a partial conclusion has been reached in the negotiations between Russia, Kyiv, the United Nations and Turkey.
