Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: These statements of experts in international relations are made while the diplomats of the republic are in possession of the embassies of Afghanistan without the agreement of the Islamic Emirate, and recently in order to maintain their duties and to have possession of the country's embassies on (Monday May 22, 2023) have established a coordination association between them.
Ahmad Fawad Niazi, an expert on international relations, said in a conversation with AVA that countries open a representative office or embassy in some countries in order to have interests and establish relations and solve the problems of their citizens. The title cannot protect the interests of its own country.
He pointed out that the Afghan diplomats who were appointed by the leaders of the republic as ambassadors of Afghanistan to the countries of the world, are now in control of some of the embassies of the country and are not answerable to anyone, therefore the diplomats of the republic of the country's representative’s use for their personal benefits.
According to him, the diplomats of the republic do not have any type of diplomatic immunity from the legal point of view of the countries of the world because they are not recognized by the current government in Afghanistan as ambassadors of the country.
Niazi added: In order to get the many embassies of the country that are in the hands of the republic's diplomats, the leaders of the Islamic Emirate must establish good relations with the countries of the world and achieve their satisfaction.
After the fall of the republic in Afghanistan, many countries of the world and the ambassadors of the previous government established relations with the Islamic Emirate and entrusted the representatives of Afghanistan to the Islamic Emirate.
At the same time, Qadratullah Ebrahimzadeh, a university professor and an expert on international relations, told AVA that the differences between the leaders of the Islamic Emirate and some countries in the world due to the fact that the country's political representatives were handed over to the Afghan government, have caused many problems for the country's immigrants and businessmen.
He added that the corruption in some of the country's embassies has caused various problems for Afghan citizens, adding that most of the diplomats of the republic who are in charge of the Afghan embassies are contaminated with corruption, because after the fall of the republic, they did not join any national or international institutions. They are not responsible.
This university professor added that if the Islamic Emirate is unable to get the representatives of Afghanistan soon, there is a high possibility that the country's embassies will become business houses and residential places for some diplomats of the republic.
During the republic, Afghanistan had political representation in 42 countries of the world, but after the fall of the republic and the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, a limited number of them were closed due to the lack of relations between the countries and the existing government in Afghanistan, and a number of the country's representations are managed by the diplomats of the republic.
