Ministry of Industry: We have reached self-sufficiency in fifty products

Javad clarified that providing a suitable platform for investment through legal, institutional and structural reforms, comprehensive and sustainable development of industrial sectors, growth of small businesses with special attention to women entrepreneurs, facilitating parallel trade, enhancing the capacity of the Ministry of Industry and Trade are among the most important goals. Referring to the achievements of this ministry, he added that reaching the country's exports to two billion US dollars, creating a balance between exports and imports, increasing the share of exports from 13% to 22%, reducing the share of imports from 87% to 78%, among the most important. it is
 
Javad further stated that the countries of Pakistan, India, Iran, UAE, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, China and Kazakhstan have bought the most items from Afghanistan.
 
The most exported materials of Afghanistan are coal, cotton, dried figs, cumin, pomegranate, raisins, grapes, black pine, and Roman eggplant, among the most important exports of Afghanistan.
 
According to Javad, the most imported items of Afghanistan from foreign countries include rice, machinery, gas, car parts, cement and oil.
 
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Trade also added that due to the support of this ministry for investment in Afghanistan, we have reached self-sufficiency in 50 products, 15 of which are medicines.
 
He also expressed that with the efforts of this ministry, according to the decision of the cabinet, all government departments use domestic products.
