The national football team returns to the green rectangle after a year
Today (Saturday, June 10, 2023), the Afghanistan national football team is going to face the host Kyrgyzstan national team in the first round of the Central Asia tournament at 7:30 pm Kabul time.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: This match will be held at the 30,000-seat "Dolin Omarzakov" stadium in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, while Afghanistan will return to the green rectangle after a one-year hiatus, this time under the guidance of Kuwaiti head coach Abdullah Al-Mutairi.
The remarkable thing is that the composition of the national team has completely changed and this time, unlike previous years, most of the players from the domestic teams are seen in the composition of the players invited to the Central Asian competitions.
Farshad Noor, the captain of the national football team, cannot make it to the match against Kyrgyzstan due to his contract with Brunei Singapore, but it is said that he will be present in the second match against Iran.
