In a meeting with the local officials of Herat, the head of the United Nations in Asia stated that the organization has been able to expand its services to all parts of Afghanistan due to good security, and said that he will cooperate with the government of the Islamic Emirate as much as possible to solve the problems.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Herat: The head of the United Nations in Asia and the delegation met and discussed with the officials of the Department of Foreign Relations, Economy, Public Health and Deputy Governor of Herat.
 
This delegation consisted of the United Nations General Secretary in Afghanistan, the United Nations Acting General Secretary in Afghanistan, the United Nations Western Zone Chief and the United Nations Western Zone Program Manager.
 
In this meeting, Maulavi Mohajer Farahi, the deputy governor of Herat, was reminded of the lack of facilities in the government hospital and said: Institutions should cooperate in the health sector and provide medical facilities in this province.
 
The deputy official of Herat province also reminded about the effects of drought on the economic situation of the people and asked for support and help to farmers in the field of fertilizer distribution and other modern facilities.
 
He also asked this delegation to seriously help and cooperate with the immigrants who returned to the country.
 
In response, Mr. Biosmith, the General Director of the United Nations in Asia, said: They are working to the best of their ability to solve the problems with the Islamic Emirate.
 
He also stated: Currently, a team of UN institutions has been appointed at the Torkham border crossing points and Islam Qala to help the migrants.
 
In this meeting, General Secretary of the United Nations in Asia: expressed his satisfaction with the effective security of Afghanistan and stated: Due to good security, we have been able to expand our services to all parts of the country.
