The United Nations General Assembly approved the draft resolution of Russia on the non-deployment of weapons in outer space.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: This resolution asked all countries, especially those that have space potential, to consider an option to accept a political requirement not to deploy weapons in space.

According to Isna, this resolution also calls for the rapid start of work on the draft agreement to prevent the deployment of weapons in space based on this project, which was prepared by Russia and China and presented in 2008 at the disarmament conference.

It should be noted that after Russia's military attack on Ukraine and due to the strained relations between Russia and America, the two countries withdrew from the space agreement.
