Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate published a newsletter today (Sunday, March 3) saying that Nooruddin Azizi, the head of the ministry and his accompanying delegation, with the participation of the head of the Afghan Embassy in Turkmenistan and the trade union The Ministry met Mirgen Kordov, head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Turkmenistan, at the Afghan Embassy in that country.
In this meeting, Mr. Mirgen Kordov said: With the support of the leadership of the Republic of Turkmenistan and the President of that country, bilateral trade has increased since the beginning of the new year, and trade and transit cooperation between the two countries is also increasing.
The head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Turkmenistan informed the Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan that about 100 Turkmen companies will participate in the business communication conference to establish a contact line and investment fields in Afghanistan.
Further, the Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, emphasizing the welfare of the Afghan people, said: "Our main goal is the welfare of the Afghan people through job creation, economic growth and attracting investments, and the Afghan security agencies are also trying to ensure the security of investors and citizens of the country."
The head of the ministry added that the leadership of the Islamic Emirate pays special attention to the private sector and supports this sector, which has issued many decrees on facilitating trade and attracting investment in Afghanistan, which have provided ease for domestic and foreign investors.
Mr. Azizi added that the facilities and raw materials that the two countries have will naturally increase in the amount of exports with the meeting of the private sector, and Afghanistan can establish a good connection between Central Asian countries and South Asian countries in terms of transit.
