On the occasion of World Tuberculosis (TB) Day, the United Nations has announced that nearly 4,400 people in the world die from tuberculosis every day.

The United Nations added that tuberculosis can be prevented and treated.

According to the report of the World Health Organization, in 2022, one million and 300 thousand people worldwide will die as a result of tuberculosis, and this disease is considered the second cause of death after the corona virus.

Reports indicate that the number of tuberculosis patients in the world has increased for the first time after 20 years, which is attributed to poverty, neglect and lack of funds.

March 24 is named World Tuberculosis Day.

Medical experts say about the symptoms of tuberculosis: the symptoms of this disease include a lot of coughing with phlegm from the throat. Any person who has these symptoms or is suspected of having this disease should go to health centers for diagnosis and treatment.
