The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan asked the caretaker government in the country to investigate this attack completely and take immediate steps.

Meanwhile, a Pakistani media source has claimed that one of the perpetrators of the attack on 8 Pakistani soldiers is an Afghan, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has summoned the deputy ambassador of Afghanistan in Islamabad for this reason.
According to Pakistani media reports, Osman alias Kamran is from Logar province of Afghanistan, who was one of the perpetrators of this attack.
This media source added: Osmanullah, one of the current fighters of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, had joined the Jaish Farsan Mohammad group affiliated with Hafiz Gul Bahadur and participated in the attack on Bannu canton yesterday, where he was killed by the security forces.
