Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi condemned the assassination of martyr Ismail Haniyeh by the Israeli regime, calling it a violation of the UN Charter and undermining efforts for a ceasefire.

According to Anatolia, the Chinese Foreign Minister said in the calls that Beijing strongly condemns the assassination of Shahid Hania as a violation of international norms, a violation of Iran's sovereignty and a weakening of the Gaza ceasefire negotiations.

 

"This assassination violates the fundamental principles of the UN Charter," he said. "To avoid an escalation of tensions, a comprehensive and permanent ceasefire in Gaza must be achieved as soon as possible."
