Afghanistan, Iran to hold meeting in near future to coordinate transit and transport
The Ministry of Industry and Commerce says that the acting head of the ministry said in a meeting with officials of the country's cargo union that a meeting will be held between Afghanistan and Iran in the near future to coordinate transit, cargo and transportation.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Emirate said in a statement that the head of the ministry, Nooruddin Azizi, met with members of the Barchalani Union.
 
In this meeting, members of the Barchlani Union provided information about the union, its activities and the opening of its headquarters and provincial office, and shared their problems with the leadership of the ministry.
 
They also said that Afghanistan is a member of FIATA, ECOLPAF and CFCFA, and that the Afghan Cargo Union will establish contacts with these organizations in the near future.
 
Meanwhile, Nooruddin Azizi welcomed their activities and said they should share their problems with the ministry in writing through the union.
 
He said a meeting would be held in the near future to coordinate and ensure communication between Afghan and Iranian cargo, transit and transport companies.
