Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: Hamid Reza Ahmadi, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran residing in the city of Mazar-Sharif, in an interview with an AVA reporter, said that one of the goals of the enemies of the nation of Iran and Afghanistan is division and discord between these two nations and they want brotherly and friendly relations between the two countries.
He added: "False and unreal news about Afghanistan and Iran are published and broadcast every day in the virtual space and some media outlets in order to set the views of these two countries and two nations against each other and create a negative burden."
Ahmadi said: The media and real and legal personalities of Iran and Afghanistan have a duty to enter the field of public awareness and statement of facts and prevent the penetration of tense and negative atmosphere among the people.
The mentioned person admitted that it is the responsibility of journalists and media to publish facts and reality for the people and it is necessary to take action to prevent false and untrue reports.
The Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the city of Mazar-e-Sharif pointed to the issuance of free visas for the pilgrims of Imam Hussain (AS) and added: We are on the threshold of Arbaeen Hussain (AS) and the enemy wants to pollute and tense the situation in order to attend the great Arbaeen Congress of the Martyrs. Mr. Aba Abdullah al-Hussein (a.s.) may harm.
He also stated: We are determined that the journey of Afghan pilgrims in Iran and Iraq should be done without problems and with ease, and that these loved ones will return to their homes with complete health.
On the other hand, Qasim Nazari, a media activist and knowledgeable about cultural issues in Balkh province, expressed his gratitude to the Iranian government and people for hosting Afghan immigrants, and asked for the continuation of good treatment with immigrants in Iran.
He added that the rare and illegal encounters of some officials and soldiers of the Islamic Republic of Iran with Afghan immigrants, which cause abuse by the enemy, should be prevented and it is better that the case of Seyed Mahdi be shared with the media and the world after investigation.
Meanwhile, a number of citizens of Mazar-e-Sharif emphasized the friendship and brotherhood of the nations of Iran and Afghanistan and said: the actions of some police officers against Seyyed Mehdi Tahanesh were shocking and illegal, and we want the case to be followed up by the relevant authorities.
It should be mentioned that the inappropriate treatment of a number of police officers of the Absard Damavand area of Tehran with Seyed Mehdi, an Afghan immigrant teenager, has provoked reactions in Tehran and in the meantime, the opposing media have tried to divide and exploit this incident.
