The construction of 16 telecommunications centers at a cost of 1.6 million dollars has started in Faryab province

The Afghanistan Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ATRA) has initiated the construction of 16 telecommunications centers in Faryab Province at a cost of $1.6 million USD.


Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: During a ceremony marking the launch, Faryab Governor Mullah Abdul Ahad Fazli highlighted that these centers will significantly alleviate the telecommunications issues faced by residents in the province’s districts.
He also emphasized that this project is part of the government’s broader efforts to enhance telecommunications infrastructure in remote and underdeveloped areas, providing these communities with better and faster access to communication services.
Governor Fazli further noted that the implementation of this project is expected to improve the quality of telecommunications services in these regions, addressing the long-standing communication challenges faced by the local population.
Additionally, Hafiz Mohammad Sabet Numan, head of ATRA’s Northern Zone, elaborated on the details of the centers, stating that the project was designed to address the telecommunications issues in 13 districts of Faryab that have long suffered from inadequate communication services.
He added that this initiative reflects the government’s commitment to improving the quality of life and developing essential infrastructure across the country, particularly in Faryab, thereby playing a crucial role in enhancing connectivity and reducing communication gaps between various regions./Bakhtar News
