Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: In the presence of "Syed Hassan Mortazavi", the deputy of the Kabul Embassy, the large economic delegation of Iran has met with "Molabad Ghani Baradar", the economic deputy of the Prime Minister's Department, and discussed and exchanged views on how to expand the private sector cooperation between the two countries.
According to economic experts, the presence of Mobarakeh Steel, Iran's largest industrial complex and as one of the largest steel producers, indicates that Iran is seeking to expand the export of steel products to Afghanistan and invest in various economic sectors of the country.
Previously, the private sector, in the form of this economic delegation, had met and discussed with the Minister of Industry and Trade, Nooruddin Azizi, as well as the Minister of Energy and Water, Abdul Latif Mansour, and the officials of the Ministry of Mines.
In these meetings, the Iranian delegation, by providing information on the capacity of the Mobarake steel complex and the field of activities of this complex, has put forward investment proposals in the sectors of creating a special mineral economic zone of Iran and Afghanistan, mineral exploration, investment in road construction and railway.
