The travel restrictions of Afghan Arbaeen Hosseini pilgrims to Iran "by bus" and "until 18 Safar" have been removed!
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: Sardar Mira Ahmadi wrote in a message in response to Hosseini Mazari's letter: "It was decided that the dear Afghan pilgrims who do not have a bus will enter Iran from 17 Safar and the condition will not be until 18 Safar".
In this way, two problems of Afghan Arbaeen Hosseini pilgrims were practically solved; On the one hand, pilgrims without a bus can enter Iran from the 17th of Safar and leave for Iraq through the Chaba border crossing, and on the other hand, the Iranian Embassy in Kabul said that all pilgrimage caravans must enter Iran until the 18th of Safar, and after that they are allowed to leave. It is not, but according to the head of Arbaeen headquarters of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the condition and restriction of entry does not exist until 18 Safar.
Now it is expected that according to these new words of the Head of the Central Staff of Arbaeen Hosseini of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the embassy and consular missions of this country in Afghanistan will also remove the preconditions and restrictions imposed.
Meanwhile, in a part of the text of the letter of the head of Sardar Mirahmadi's Tabayan Center, it is stated:
"This year, more than the previous years, the Afghan pilgrims of Arbaeen Hosseini are facing many problems.
The first problem; The condition for issuing a double-entry pilgrimage visa to Iran by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul for pilgrimage caravans is to have a bus from the origin of the provinces/provinces of Afghanistan to the destination of the Chazaba border, and the drivers of the buses must have valid passports. This is despite the fact that, firstly, the volume of more than 50,000 pilgrims is not enough for the Afghan bus, because currently Afghanistan does not have that number of buses, and secondly, most of the drivers do not have valid passports, and thirdly, the full price of the bus ticket for each Afghan pilgrim The return trip costs about 350 US dollars, which is not within the means of most poor pilgrims, and fourthly, Afghan pilgrims are interested in visiting Mashhad Mashrafe and the shrines of Iran and visiting their relatives and friends in various immigrant cities when returning from Iraq.
The second problem is zoning for issuing a double-entry pilgrimage visa; For example, the Iranian embassy in Kabul is in charge of issuing visas for the residents of Kabul and several surrounding provinces, as well as the consulates of Mazar, Herat, Kandahar and Nangarhar, while it is possible that some people had their main residence in Mazar, Kandahar or Nimroz. On the same basis, they have also received passports, but they are currently residing in Kabul, or the wife is from one province and the husband is from another province, and this situation has created a serious problem for the pilgrim.
The third problem; The time for issuing visas to Iranian agencies in Afghanistan is short, and it has been said that Afghan pilgrims should enter Iran by 18th of Safar, while today is 6th of Safar, but no pilgrim has been able to obtain a visa yet.
Hosseini Mazari predicted in this letter that if the existing restrictions are not removed, this year less than one tenth of Afghan pilgrims may be able to go to the shrines.
At the same time, following the announcement of the new strict conditions of the embassy and representative offices of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Afghanistan for the issuance of Arbaeen Hosseini (a.s) visas, which have met with widespread dissatisfaction of Hosseini pilgrims and the officials of tourism companies, the letters of request for help from the head of Tebian Rooz Center On Sunday, 21 Asad, it was sent to various and important authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, from the leadership of the Islamic Revolution to the head of the headquarters of Arbaeen Hosseini, to which Sardar Mir Ahmadi responded, but the Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) has been informing for several days. And the publication of special reports on this topic.
Seyyed Abbas Hosseini, head of AVA office and correspondent in Tehran, also on Sunday, Aug 12, during the ceremony to celebrate Journalist's Day, brought this dissatisfaction to the ears of Dr. Ali Bagheri, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran and also the spokesman of this ministry, and asked for help in solving this problem.
