Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Today (Tuesday), Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper, quoting sources that it identified as close to the Hamas movement, wrote that Yahya al-Sanwar, as the mastermind of the Al-Aqsa storm operation, is fighting from inside the tunnels these days. and except a few trusted people, no one knows about his whereabouts.
These sources also said that the trusted people are the link between him and other field commanders in case of necessity and through very complicated ways, and that no one in Hamas, whether they are inside Palestine or those who are outside, They do not know the location of Yahya al-Sanwar.
Al-Sharq al-Awsat quoted a "senior source" of Hamas and wrote that after certain security conditions are met, Yahya al-Sanwar can make phone calls, although making phone calls required time-consuming preparations, but these preparations were finally made.
This Hamas source added: "Yahya al-Sanwar is present in many areas and conveys instructions to the movement's authorities every week and sometimes once a month."
According to him, these instructions are written on paper and signed by Al-Sanuwar, but no one knows how to transfer them. He said the instructions were most likely to be passed manually from person to person in complete secrecy.
According to Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper, it is believed that "Mohammed Al-Sanwar", the brother of Yahya Al-Sanwar and one of the senior commanders of Ezzeddin Qassam, manages his hideouts and movements. "Mohammed al-Sanwar" is also wanted by the occupying regime of Israel and is considered one of the main planners of the Al-Aqsa storm operation.
A member of Hamas outside Palestine also told Al-Sharq Al-Awsat that in addition to very few calls, Yahya al-Sanwar sent two written messages and one audio message to the mediators regarding the negotiations.
He said that Al-Sanwar is fully aware of the negotiation process and will carefully review any initiative before presenting it. This Hamas official said that Yahya al-Sanwar preferred to be present in the negotiations because he knows the Israelis' way of thinking very well.
This Hamas member outside Palestine continued: "Contrary to the issues that are raised and promoted by many, Yahya al-Sanwar has repeatedly supported flexibility in many stages of negotiations, and this position has surprised even the mediators. Known as a tough negotiator who wants to reach terms on which Palestinian consensus exists; At the same time, he desperately wants to stop the killing and bloodshed and seeks an end to the war."
Since the beginning of the Gaza war, no pictures or videos of Yahya al-Sanwar have been published; Only once, the Israeli army released a video from inside one of the tunnels and claimed that the person in the film was al-Sanuwar. The occupying forces have also claimed many times that they were able to get close to his place, but each time they returned empty-handed.
